I am Katherine, known as KaDi (pronounced Kah-Dee) – a sacred weaver, a space holder, a heart-sister, mother, free spirit, and dancer, walking the path of the Wise Woman.

I co-create and collaborate with sisters and the unseen to awaken power, sovereignty, beauty, healing, and transformation. My medicine vibrates at the frequency of love and joy, guiding others to remember and reconnect with their embodied wisdom.

I spent much of my life seeking external validation—working hard and looking to others for answers. My spiritual journey took me across Nepal and India in search of a wise Guru, only to find that I lost my sovereignty and inner wisdom on the devotional path of serving several charismatic spiritual leaders.

As a heart-sister, my calling is to facilitate transformational and empowering women’s circles, ceremonies, and conscious movement gatherings. I love to collaborate with other women to weave rich transformational experiences. I acknowledge and deeply honor the training I have received with the Awakening Women Institute, Priestess Path, and Azul Conscious Movement.

Alongside my beloved sister Jonah Ruh Roberts aka Raven Windwalker, I co-guide 13 Moons and share the core weaving of Forest and Village. With my collaborative partner, Lisa Galinski, we offer weekly Conscious Movement gatherings in central Connecticut. I also collaborate with local sisters Sharon Fortier and Victoria Jackson to guide monthly women’s temple circles.

It was through body-centered practices that I began to rebuild trust in myself and re-orient from the inside out. These practices, which center on choice, deep listening, and intuition, became the path to my healing. Now, I guide women on a similar journey—helping them rediscover their own wisdom to live authentically and with integrity.

In the sacred spaces I facilitate, I do not provide answers, advice, or seek adoration. Instead, I hold a gentle space for remembrance—for women to reconnect with the wisdom that has always lived inside them yet has been buried under societal conditioning. I am a guide, a heart-sister, standing beside you as you remember and reclaim your true self.

My journey has taught me that healing and self-discovery are not about pushing through but rather about being pulled by the longing within—the deep, magnetic desire to return to one's own truth and wisdom. This clarity within myself allows me to hold space for others with great sensitivity and integrity.

As we do the deep, embodied work of shadow integration, trauma healing, and conscious movement, we heal the wounds of patriarchy and colonialism. Together, we unravel the mistrust, judgment, and competition that have kept women divided. We reconnect with our bodies, mend the fractures in our hearts, and foster open-hearted, genuine connections.

I am deeply committed to the Wise Woman path, to trauma-informed leadership, and to dismantling all forms of oppression. Through decolonial shadow work and reconnecting with the Earth, we remember our ancestral wisdom of how to live in right relation with the land and all beings great and small.

Being raised by Lesbian mothers who have spent their lives advocating for marginalized voices has instilled in me a deep commitment to social justice and to actively dismantle my unconscious collusion with the oppressive paradigm.

The path is not always easy, but it is essential to consciously recognize, name, and confront the reality of harm so that we may disentangle from it to access other possibilities rooted in respect and honor. I strongly believe in our capacity to reclaim our humanity and live in integrity and respect, as we attune to a deeper and wider vision, rooted in courage and compassion, trusting in the power of deep listening and discernment. We can reclaim our right relation and sacred balance with all of life—through vulnerability, authenticity, and love. My commitment is to support this path of coming home. May we each embody our distinct medicine and unique expression for the greater good.

Everything that you want, you already are.

Introducing KaDi:

Heart- Sister

I am a Heart-Sister, and my spirit name is KaDi. Pronounced Kah-Dee, this name holds deep spiritual meaning, gifted to me in a moment of profound connection with my journey and the women around me.

KaDi is a combination of two sacred syllables:

  • Ka represents the heart. In the yogic tradition, the seed sound Ka is the first syllable in the Sanskrit alphabet and is placed on the front petal of the heart lotus. Ka is also linked to my ancestry, as my maternal grandparents recognized the importance of this sound in the naming of my maternal lineage.

  • Di means sister, derived from the Hindi or Nepali word Didi, used to address a sister affectionately.

This name came to me in 1990 after I returned home to Connecticut from Nepal, where I had lived with a Nepali family in Kathmandu. I vividly remember riding my bicycle down a long dirt road through lush green fields, and the local children would call out, "Didi, Didi," meaning sister. The warmth of this word and the bond it represented stayed with me.

Upon my return, I joined a women's circle, and when asked my name, KaDi arrived in a flash—gifted from spirit—as a reminder of my heart-centered purpose and the deep sisterhood I am called to share. It is a name that aligns with my role as a Heart-Sister to support others to reconnect with their authentic selves and step into their wisdom.

"Let yourself be silently drawn by the stronger pull of what you really love.

In the depths there is a spring with all the water your heart is thirsty for."
